The First 209 Health Nucleus Clients
20 years since the first human genome sequence, the power of genomics integrated with advanced technology and analysis is poised to be the starting point of healthcare – now available at the Health Nucleus in La Jolla.
Here, our clients experience genomics-powered, technology-driven personalized assessments, designed to revolutionize healthcare. To demonstrate what we’re learning, our team recently shared the findings from the first 209 clients.
In active symptom-free adults, the Health Nucleus found 5 diseases including Type 2 diabetes and diabetes risk, atherosclerosis and atherosclerosis risk, metabolic syndrome, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). Seventy (34%) study participants were referred for follow-up imaging based on findings from noncontrast whole-body MRI.
These insights were generated from the Health Nucleus’ proprietary integration and analysis of whole genome sequencing paired with whole body MRI, among other assessments, for a detailed look at current health and health risks.
