Anita Cosgrove, BSN MA JD is Senior Vice-President, Strategic Business Development for Human Longevity, Inc. (“HLI”) a La Jolla CA based precision health assessment and analytics company co-founded by Dr. J. Craig Venter in 2015.
Via its “Health Nucleus,” HLI offers one of the most advanced, multi-modal health assessment platforms available today. Having enrolled over 5,000 clients, the Health Nucleus offers whole body/brain MRI, whole genome sequencing, an array of blood chemistries along with other strategic diagnostic testing.
Prior to joining HLI, Ms. Cosgrove served as Director, Provider Relations for Castlight Health, a San Francisco based health-care navigation company. There, Ms. Cosgrove engaged numerous academic medical centers to secure service line metrics (outcome data) for inclusion into Castlight’s’ “Health Navigation” App. The App, purchased by hundreds of Fortune 500 and 100 companies, enables employees to “shop” for healthcare based on quality and cost.
Prior to Castlight, Ms. Cosgrove completed a four‐year term as Director of Strategic Alliances for 23andMe, a DTC personal genomics company. There Ms. Cosgrove conducted national and international business development to grow, diversify, and monetize the company’s genomic database.
Prior to 23andMe, Ms. Cosgrove was Executive Vice-President and Chief Communications Officer for WorldCare, a Cambridge Massachusetts-based global telemedicine company. During her tenure, Ms. Cosgrove contributed to the development of a “second‐opinion e-consultation and management service” to address serious illness tendered by a network of prestigious US-based, academic medical centers. This service is sold globally by American International Group (AIG) as a “rider” to insurance policies. The service is also purchased by banks for its credit card and wealth management clients.
Prior to joining WorldCare, Ms. Cosgrove clerked on the 8th District Court of Appeals of Ohio. She received her JD with distinction from Case Western Reserve University.
