Chief Commercial Officer
Noah Nasser serves as Chief Commercial Officer for Human Longevity, Inc. With more than twenty five years of experience in life sciences tools, diagnostics and genetic screening, Noah Nasser has a broad background in the development and commercialization of new and novel technology to advance human health. Throughout his career, Mr. Nasser has held operational and commercial positions both with U.S. domestic and international responsibilities. His specific experience includes the development and commercialization of immuno- and molecular based devices, the commercialization of novel genetic screening applications, general management, quality and regulatory.
Most recently, Mr. Nasser was Chief Commercial Officer of Counsyl, a genetic testing laboratory headquartered in South San Francisco, CA USA. Counsyl provides genetic tests focused on informing critical decision points in a patient’s life, including Non-Invasive Prenatal Screening (NIPT, NIPS), Expanded Carrier Screening (ECS) and Cancer Risk Assessment (HCS, CRA) as well as a proprietary suite of solutions, designed to seamlessly integrate Counsyl’s screening into clinic workflows and patients’ lives. During his tenure at Counsyl, the company more than doubled in revenue and was sold to Myriad Genetics in August of 2018.
Prior to joining Cousyl, Mr. Nasser was senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at AltheaDx, Inc, a high complexity CLIA laboratory focused on proprietary pharmacogenetics solutions and served as Global Sales Leader for Verinata Health, Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Illumina, Inc.), a molecular testing provider focused on prenatal testing. Mr. Nasser served as Verinata’s Vice President of Sales and Market Development for Verinata prior to its acquisition by Illumina in 2013. Earlier in his career, Nasser held leadership positions at Quidel Corporation, an immunodiagnostic company with products spanning point of care, molecular and life science tools, most recently as the Business Unit Manager for Molecular Diagnostics. Mr. Nasser holds a B.S. in Molecular Biology from University of California, San Diego.
