Chief Business Development Officer
Since 2014, Fernanda Gandara Coelho has served as the Chief Business Development Officer for Human Longevity, Inc. (HLI). Prior to HLI, she led all the business development efforts for over seven years at Synthetic Genomics, Inc. (SGI), served as President of SGI-DNA, a wholly owned subsidiary of SGI, and represented the parent company on the board of AgraCast. Prior to SGI, Fernanda worked at British Petroleum in several areas including Technology Strategy and Venturing and focused on identifying opportunities and negotiating and structuring equity investments, joint ventures and sponsored-research agreements with small companies, universities and national labs in the bioenergy sector. Prior to that, she worked in management consulting for over six years at Accenture and BCG.
Fernanda received her MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business in California and her BS in Chemical Engineering from Escola de Engenharia Maua in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
